FEES & BILLING

At Maple Dental Hygiene Care, our fees for services are determined according to the Ontario Dental Hygienists Association Suggested Fee Guide. Dentists use a similar Fee guide by the Ontario Dental Association.

In general, the fees for services provided by a registered dental hygienist in independent practice are usually 10 – 30% less than similar services provided by a registered dental hygienist at a dental office.

Services provided by a registered dental hygienist in independent practice are recognized and covered by dental insurance providers. As a courtesy to my patients, I am always happy to call their dental insurance provider about their dental hygiene benefits. Payment for the services provided can be made by either cash, credit, cheque or e-transfer.
